MCT History

MC Tile originated in 1989 from the passion of our founder, Mario Cruz, to provide the finest and most affordable flooring products and services to production and custom builders.  Over the next 10 years Mario was able to turn this passion into a successful company with the help of his brother Mene and his sister Daisy.  With their reputation of honesty, diverse products, fine craftsmanship, on time installation, and relationship driven customer service the family expanded their operations in 2001. 
Today our operations include two 30,000 square foot warehouses in Houston housing the tile and granite divisions’ stocking and fabrication system.  In 2007 MC Tile established the San Antonio facility to serve the San Antonio and Austin markets.
Today MC Tile’s ideals of keeping good builder relationships, high level customer satisfaction, efficiency, and product and service perfection, remain the foundation upon which MC Tile is built.  These values and service based culture place our customers at the center of everything we do and define the MC Tile Way and how we do business.

At MC Tile our clients select from a wide variety of floor, countertop, kitchen, bathroom, wall, backsplash, and outdoor tile.   Floor and wall products include ceramic, porcelain, wood, glass, granite, marble, and travertine.  Countertop products include granite, marble, travertine, and Silestone.
MC Tile is able to offer its diverse products through an established network of global and local suppliers.  Our suppliers are carefully selected for quality, reliability, and price.  This long established supply chain allows us to keep the products we need in inventory so they will be readily available to our builders at competitive prices.  Our diverse supply chain also allows us to keep our product lines fresh and up to date in an ever changing marketplace where new colors, textures, technologies, and styles are needed to keep homeowners excited and engaged about their flooring and countertop needs. 
Whether it’s after the final closing or through referrals, many homeowners come to us for follow up services.  MC Tile offers installation services, consultation on care and maintenance, performs repairs, and can make further tile or granite additions for our residential guests.
